Positioning the Pagefile on 2 Separate Hard Drives
If you have 2 partitioned hard drives where would you place the pagefile on each? On the Primary drive you have your OS and nothing else I'm told except a pagefile and on your Secondary drive you should place the pagefile up front in front of any other partitions for quicker access. Is this not ...

Loading Raid Drivers on Clean Install
Are there drivers to be downloaded when performing a clean install at F5 for a simple Raid 0 or striped set configuration on the Windows Xp CD? If so, what are they? I'm using 2 IDE Western Digital hard drives. I know it states that if you have any 3rd party drivers to press F5 to install. I was ...

Trying to determine which hard drive should used for the master
In my system I have 2 hard drives 1 40G and 1 80G both IDE Western Digital 7200 rpm. My 40G is the most recent hard drive in my computer, but whenever I perform an installation of Windows the C: always places on the 80G. Should I then be placing the 80G as the master in my system configuration and ...

I'm just a little confused as to how you physically change your IDE cables to accomodate a hard drive and a cd-rom. My IDE cable won't reach that far due to the way the hard drive bay and cd bay's are located in my computer case or is this automatically done when you set both hard drives to master ...

Placing the hard drives on separate channels
Will placing the hard drives on separate IDE channels yield good performance? The way I understand this is that the Primary hard drive is placed with the CD-Rom on the same channel with the pin connection in the Slave position. Next the second hard drive would be placed on the second IDE channel ...

After installing Windows XP can or is it possible to install your system drivers while in safemode? I realize you can't install the network driver as I stated before but you can install the chipset, audio and video drivers and thank you in advance for the info. I'm sorry the question was stated wrong.

Slow Response
I've performed numerous reinstallations of Windows XP and it seems that maybe I'm doing something wrong. I don't know if this will help you or not but you can also go to http://www.linksys.com/check and it will walk you through the entire setup of your router to your system. I've tried it several times and it does work quite well.
