I was just wondering if I hooked them up to the fan leads on my mobo if they'd show the RPM of the fan. Right now, I have them connected to a PS cable. Guess not....

I'd like to stay under a grand if possible. I can use my existing PS, case, perhaps video card and SSD and hard drives. All that leaves me is a mobo, CPU and RAM. Maybe have to upgrade video card too.

I just bought a Hanns G 1900 x 1200 monitor from "the egg" for a sale price of $ 239 (free shipping) and I'm impressed. It's not as good as my Asus, but worth the price I paid.
