You can be directed to go to a website, and the Site itself can infect you ~ just one thought

Basic secenrio is that a new exploit is created, the infector sends out a spam email, gets you to click on the website link, and it infects your computer without you even knowing -

(1) I'm going to keep checking out nvidia boards, now that I know exactly what chipset I need to look for, and the Abit looks just fine for the job....

(2) I keep flipping around about 2 versions of the same board ...

If you buy an IEEE 1394 Add-on card by itself, you are really just buying a fancy connector, right?.... I'm talking in general terms.

I thought it seemed logical that I should buy a motherboard Without IEEE 1394 to save money... then in the future I would add the 1394 ports by way of the sound card ...

Shopping for motherboards ~

(1) New Motherboards without IEEE 1394 ports-
If I bought a SoundBlasterCard that has an IEEE 1394 port, I basically would be adding 1 IEEE 1394 port, that can be used with any compaitable1394 device...?

(2) New Motherboards that have the nvidia chipset-

Those are called 'Favicons' and they are stored in your temporary internet files folder...

since they are temporary, you must copy them and rename them to a different folder ( at least thats what i do )

Sooo...... you go to a website, click add bookmark, it puts an icon beside the URLbookmark ...

When i had problems like that, it was because my cable modem wasn't getting enough Signal Strength.

You need to have the cable company out, and check your signal strength.....

I noticed when i installed XpProfessional w/ Free Version 2.6.362 of ZA, that if i did not shut down zone alarm before logging off a user that i would have issues after that...
I have no problems At All if i exit/shutdown ZA before logging off.

I surf and play wolfenstein with ZA with no issues as ...

I have a Asus A7V266-E Board, One of the First Settings on the Motherboard I need to settle is the "Cpu Type Frequency Setting"

Jumpers choices are either:

Athlon/Duron (default) or
Palomino (which i have it set at)

From what i gather.... (just my thoughts) -it is a script file provided to create an Html file that will popup browser windows over and over in a loop until your system crashes and you have to reboot...

The file is Provided by 1stpage2000 program, so that the user can create a website/Html file ...
