Need help locating software

Post by blacklab »

A friend of mine had a program that would show the night sky and identify the stars. He downloaded it from the Internet and it was very accurate.

All he had to do was enter his present location, the direction he was facing and the size of the sky he wanted to look at. The program would take the date and the time from the computer. If it was left on track the display would change with the time.

If anyone knows of a program like that, and where I can get it, I would appreciate it.

I think UOD posted this one a while back.

And the good part? It's free. :D
