SpeedTouch 706WL is a wireless ADSL router with one RJ-11 WAN port, two 10/100Base-T LAN ports, one USB port, a single RJ-11 FXO port for connecting to PSTN line, and a single FXS port for VoIP phone calls.

The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11b/g standards, providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 54Mbps. It is WDS compatible and supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. It also uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network.

SpeedTouch 706WL provides a variety of VoIP features, such as Caller ID, Call waiting and 3-Way Conferencing.

This router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. It features a built-in firewall to protect the network against intruders.
