The router provides wireless speeds of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz frequency and up to 450 Mbps on the 5 GHz frequency. Equipped with four Gigabit ports, the router offers wired speed of up to 1000 Mbps, an excellent setup for game consoles and desktop PCs used for heavy applications.
With Simultaneous Dualband technology you can use two wireless networks at the same time. The standard 2,4 GHz frequency is suitable for lighter applications such as online shopping, e-mailing and online banking whereas the less congested 5 GHz frequency is suitable for more demanding applications such as HD streaming and online gaming.
The router features one USB 2.0 port to connect external hard disks, printers or webcams and share the device with all users in the network.
For data protection and privacy, the router encodes all wireless transmissions with WEP, WPA, or WPA2 encryption.
