Cisco Valet Plus M20

details: Wireless-N HotSpot
hardware type: Wireless Router
date added: 2010-04-01
updated: 2013-05-01
The Valet Plus M20 is a wireless broadband router with a single 10/100/1000Mbps WAN port and four 10/100/1000Mbps LAN ports.

The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11n, providing wireless transmission rates of up to 300Mbps. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. The Valet Plus M20 uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for easy wireless security configuration.

This router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. It has a built-in SPI firewall that provides a reliable protection against hackers and malicious attacks.

The Valet Plus M20 can be easily configured via Web-based configuration utility or by using the Cisco Connect software. It has three simple steps to get you set up a secure wireless network. In addition to a simple wireless network setup wizard, the Cisco Connect software includes parental controls (access time, websites) and allows for simple management of a separate, secure network for guests.
