The SURFboard TG862R is optimized for use with Xfinity Internet & Voice Service. It provides 343 Mbps download speeds, 300 Mbps Wi-Fi speeds and 2 telephone lines. Add a battery back-up (sold separately) for guaranteed coverage during power outages.
Using the connection capabilities of the gateway, you can connect your computer and other network-enabled devices via the four Ethernet ports or the 2.4 GHz Wireless connection. The TG862R connects to the existing coaxial cable connection in your home.
The TG862R also includes a Wi-Fi Pairing (WPS) button option for quick and easy connections for your WPS-enabled wireless devices.
