The Air 4641 provides uninterrupted transmission at 5GHz to transfer video/IPTV packets. With the smart frequency selection feature, the Air 4641 selects the most suitable, open channel on which to stream and the QoS (Quality of Service) feature gives streaming priority to video packets.
Jitter avoidance technology ensures video arrives at STB as if it is received from a wired Ethernet connection with a small delay. Users can connect any wireless client with WPS support by just pushing AirTouch button.
Auto Mesh increases the efficiency of air time and is particularly beneficial for real time wireless video distribution. It utilizes "per-packet" routing via the most direct path from "server" (which may be the Internet or another mesh point such as a set-top box) to each client. In this way, the wireless network map is completely fluid and flexible, never using potentially wasteful static routes.
