The Raspberry Pi Foundation has announced its resale partners are no longer limiting orders of the Raspberry Pi computer to just one per customer.
Two companies, RS and Farnell, have been contracted to distribute the mini-computers, and last week Electrocomponents, the RS parent company, reported that booming sales of the Raspberry Pi had boosted its first quarter revenues. The computer is still in high demand. RS Components says any computers ordered today won’t be delivered until the end of September, while Farnell says they should be able to supply them in five weeks. Meanwhile, the computer founder Eben Upton revealed that users may soon be able to buy a camera add-on. The tiny 5-megapixel camera module is attached to the Raspberry Pi via a ribbon cable and is expected to cost about US$20 to US$25. Read more -here-
