Apple announces the new $399 iPhone SE for 20202020-04-15 17:28 by DanielaTags: Apple, iPhone SE
Apple on Wednesday officially unveiled the 2020 iPhone SE. This is a lower-cost iPhone that starts at $399 for a version with 64GB of storage. It has the same basic shape and look as the iPhone 8, which means it has a 4.7-inch screen, large bezels on the top and bottom, and a home button with Touch ID. It's a design that has stayed consistent since the iPhone 6, which makes the iPhone SE essentially the fifth generation of that same look. But the new SE does pack a wide camera with image stabilization and faster autofocus in low light, along with features such as portrait mode, depth of field control and lighting adjustment tools. In a tweet, CEO Tim Cook called it the "best single-camera system ever in an iPhone." It has the same battery life as the iPhone 8. The device, which is available for preorder on April 17, shipping April 24, also has Apple's A13 Bionic chip, the same processor that lives in the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro devices, which were announced in 2019. The new iPhone SE will come in three colors —black, white and Product Red — and will be offered in three different sizes, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB for $399, $449 and $549, respectively. Read more -here-
