Cox DNS sucks at working.

Post by Qwijib0 »

About twice a month for about 12 hours, I cannot access any webpages unless I have visited them recently and the DNS information is cached. I experience this in both phoenix and tucson where I have cox service.

Anyone else ever experience this?
If your browser can't read unicode, you should probably switch! ;)

Try adding the folowing to your registry and see if it helps:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dnscache\Parameters]
"NegativeCacheTime"=dword:00000000
"NetFailureCacheTime"=dword:00000000
"NegativeSOACacheTime"=dword:00000000

:D ;)

If they do not force their own DNS on you, you are welcome to use my Nameservers for your DNS resolution. Drop me an E-mail if you'd like.
