cool ! add some qualiyy speaker wire too thick gold wire makes for more gain and blows more speakers!

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box ;).

I recently spent £433 on Speakers and a Amp to compliment my £520 Head Unit & 10 CD Autochanger :D

I already had the Head Unit & Auto Changer which I had just swopped over from my old car to my new 1999 Mercedes C200 Sport Auto, But the sound quality was really lacking compared to my old car so here's what I fitted :D
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kenwood 4 Channel 500 watt Amp(KAC-749S) - £200

Kenwood 170mm 260 watt Subwoofers,rear shelf, (KFC-W1705)-£95

Clarion 165mm 150 watt Speakers,front,(SRR1733)-£79

Clarion 130mm 120 watt Speakers,rear,(SRR1333)-£59

Total of £433 all inclusive of fittings etc and all installed
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now i I've got a superb bangin Bass with a crisp clear sound !!!

Here's some pics for you all
;)

Couple of Pics Of The Car Itself - Merc C200 Sport Auto
The Door Speakers
The Sub-Woofers
The Amp
The CD Changer

I'm thinking about changing my Head unit again though and fitting a MP3 Player, The Sony CDX-MP70 for £300 looks favourable at the mo ;) (It's got to be Sony to be compatible with my autochanger) Otherwise it would be a Kenwood

Glad to see your happy with your purchase Teh Win. :)

Nice car aletank...nice sound system too.

I just destroyed my Infinity Perfect sub a couple days ago. :( It was starting to fall apart (literally) and I kind of sped up the process. :D so now i'm looking for a new subwoofer.
