satelite internet (help asap)

Post by HEDONAPOST »

ok i am moving out to a town that has terrible phone lines thus no 56k connects and my current isp attbi does n't have service there.... dsl is out of the question too i belive.

so we are thinking about satillite internet

i need some info on where i can get the service from for a reasonable price.

the place i checked did nt allow uploading so we have to use the 14.4k phone line for all uploads.... bah!

we have an 8ft sat dish that my dad wanted to use for the internet but i belive thats out of the question cause the only appliance we found that went through an 8ft dish was 8,000$!@@@@#$@#$@#

is it possible to upload through the dish for a reasonable price.

i know internet gaming will be impossible for me but it seems like the only option

sorry if this post is in the wrong section i didnt know where to go!

Might be better off with ISDN or IDSL if available. Just call your phone company.
