Request of prayer...
The reason I'm up so LATE tonight...
My Friend/Co-worker's son (17yrs old) was struck by a car and life-flighted to U-of-M medical center. He is in critical condition with major head trama...mainly to the brain stem. He has a ruptured spleen and kidney, two broken ribs and major head trauma.
He is in a coma, but has positive signs toward any non-paralysis, which is great news.
I have two kids that are the same age...and I can't imagine the pain that he and his family are going through. Regardless, They are suffering right now...
His name is John Jr., and he deeply requires our prayers at this moment.
Thanks,
BMED

I could not imagine the thoughts I would have it it were one of my kids. Consider him included, BMED.
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
Very sorry to hear about that, BMED. Hoping for the best for all involved....

Thanks for the prayer wishes...
The latest news today is that John Jr. is still holding on strong, unfortunately he is now showing signs of paralysis on his left side. It's still too early to tell what his future holds, the Docs are giving him a 60% chance of recovery...what ever that means!
Life is just so unpredictable, one second can make a BIG difference. It really makes you stop and think, especially when it hits so close to home.
Thanks again everyone,
BMED

John Jr. is the youngest of five, he has four older sisters. His parents haven't requested anything except prayers for him. My co-workers and I are going to cook up some main courses and send over to the house...gotta keep them fed! Any others ideals are welcome, I really haven't had much experience with this type of situation before (Thanks God).
Thanks brembo,

My thoughts and prayers to go out to John Jr. and his family, as a person who recently almost lost his "little" brother, just a couple years older, I kinda know what they must be going through. Words cannot discribe the pain and the questions why, but the Lord does have a plan, we just have to see what it is.
