Doing a project for my northwest ohio history class (making Indian weapons, knife, spears, tomahawk, etc.)

I have this arrow head, it was hand/custom made. It is dark green.

Anyone know what kinda stone it could be?

All types of flint were the stone of choice, but it all depends on what was available. I did a Google search and found some interesting stuff HERE. Hope it helps... Either way, there's some interesting reading there.

describe it as CCS (crypto-crystaline silicate) and you can't go wrong. unless it is bottle glass.
