Whats some good soundcards

well taken that peace of crap Audigy back tomrrow shame 2 sounded great when it worked..... so ill be looken for a new card whats some good non SB. cards out ther? looken for somethin that sounds as good as audigy with out the big xp head ack...some thing that surpots front and rear speakers and work 100% with xp kind of been thinken bout goin to SB. live but avter all this bull id rather not give Sb a dime so this long time SB customer is looken for a new soundcard maker.. So guys whats some allsome cards?

just found it on bestbuy.com 129 bucks not bad at all but any one out ther try it campard to audigys sound cuz its got great sound just crashs on me every 20 mins lol i dont know bout the sound on that but look like a alsome card with the rack and all

I have a Philips Acoustic Edge soundcard as well and love it. No problems at all with and sounds really great

I actually have the SB Audigy MP3+, and I like it, but there was another card I was looking at when I bought my SB that looked nice. It is a little cheaper too. It is the Santa Cruz, made by Turtle Beach. Here is a link to the product.

This was my first choice before I bought the Audigy.......this is a killer card but it's not a gamer or DVD card. You can still play games or watch movies with it, but its only a stereo card.

well i formated and gonna do i dual ME xp boot wish i had 98Se but dont and the card works great in ME sounds unbleaveable so i am think its a driver prop and did some readen up and i think its the intel chip set it haven the prop with under xp so i hope the fix it and if not well they will recall it

+ i got a year warntey on it so....but i wished it worked in xp cuz it sounds so fen sweet

but i am sure they will get it worked out cuz they dont wanan lose somany customers and look with SB live But still makes me mad that they would sell somthin thats say works with xp most of the time it dont...they say its a small number of pc that it dont work with right know but i seen a page with 5000 sigs demainden better serves so lets hope they fix it

Is the Accoustic Edge 5.1? I need a good 5.1 sound card too. I have the Rhythmic Edge, and for 2.1, it rocks.

Yes the Acoustic Edge is a 5.1 card.
