G'day , can someone help me to change my jpg's etc to open with ie instead of loading coral , or psp ??? i use win98 and tried to right click and open with and select always open but still no go .. i hope theres a solution because i'm at my girlfriends in germany and the coral options are ...... in german :rolleyes:
so any help would be appreciated ... cheers

Go to Start|Settings>Folder Options and on the "File Types" Tab scroll down to the file type you want to change the association of.

Then click the "Edit" button on the right, near top.
When the window opens up, click in the window on the "open" tag to highlite it, then click the "edit" button below.
From there you have to "Browse" to the program you want to have it opened in. You'll find the exe file that opens IE in c:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

I have 4 listings for jpg/jpeg files, and I believe you'll have to change them all, not sure. Try one and if it doesn't work out, change them all.

what norm said is absolutlly correct , but if you want it fast way try holding shift while you r/click then pick the software you want to open ,then you have the chance of even opening it all the time.
