Det 4 problems, yet det 3 works?

Hey. I'm sure brent will know how to deal with this.

As you have heard lately in this thread https://www.speedguide.net/forums/ ... adid=47169 i have been having a lot of problems.

well i decided to try it once more... and i installed the det4 drivers.. same thing happened, it froze up when the windows GUI loaded up. well i booted into safe mode, removed the video device (uninstalled via add/remove programs) and restarted.. it loaded into normal windows with no drivers for it (640x480x16colors). luckly i had an old set of det3 drivers around (version 1080).

and now im up and running in 1024x768x32bit! any idea why its doing this?

i have a tnt2 pro, not overclocked (anymore). clock speeds of 125/143. help me out here.. could my processor on the video card have minor damage?

have you tried installing them from safemode?

ya. it doesnt detect an advanced video card.. so it finds the info in those drivers useless
