wow! dude,I am so sorry to hear that,
I know what you are feeling,
I lost my sweety after 14 years last year,
it's a terrible loss,
I have tears just thinking about what you are feeling now.
for me,it was an extremely difficult time.
it took me 7 months to get to the point of being able to get another dog,
so,it's ok to grieve.
best thoughts to you,,,,Dan

IM sorry to hear that. I know if my dog would die id be ripped apart.
When i was 11 i had a dog since id been 1. His name was Lucky. Anyway one day my dad told me to Clean the rocks outta his circle he had where he was chained up. I was stupid and lazy and decided to go play donkey kong instead! I later went out to feed him and had found out hed gotten his chain twisted and ran in a circle to hard. HE snapped his own neck. The reason his chain got tangled was cause i didn't clean out those d!mned rocks.
Just so you know that i know how you feel....i hope u get threw this okay.
To add on to the story i now have a dog named PETE! hes VERY cool and knows all kinds of tricks...love him to death! Not saying that you should just go get another one...just reminding you that DOGS are NEEDED! i don't see how you could forget your dog....but always rememer dogs are being put down all the time...go pick one up from the POUND! U lost urs....go save some puppys life! Its a good way to remember what you lost!
hope ur okay!

god i never expected so many replies so quickly thank you everybody for being so kind. i was crying pretty hard earlier but im doing alright now. it didnt even really hit me till i was putting the dirt on top of her. yes halflifer it was the same dog. i still have another german sheopard thats about 1 1/2 years old his name is buddy no he's not her puppy. i just hated having to drag her out from under the porch like that all stiff and everything. i didnt wanna touch her but mom wouldnt help me because she didnt wanna get dirty. nobody really helped till i had the hole half way dug. then my uncle showed up and help dig the rest. thank you all for the kind words and i'll be ok.

Sorry, I have a friend that was born 9/30/91. I will miss her when she leaves this world also. I can not offer many condolences do to the fact that I have not experienced your pain. I will say that the lost of a friend is total deviation, and I could not imagine at this time what that would feel like. Keep in mind that the soul is free now and they are in peace.

So sorry to hear that Anti. I never knew what it was to lose a pet until I had to put down a cat 2 years back. I feel for your loss. But, you'll always have the memories.
The hardest part is that you are so used to them being there, and you'll feel them and expect them there for a time to come.

Hi Antipop....
Sorry to hear about your dog. My dog Waldo died on New Years Eve at the age of 14. I loved her so much. She had what the doctor thinks was brain cancer. She would be fine then the next minute she would be faling over while walking and just pass out. She looked so vulnerable and helpless it still makes me choke thinking of it to this day. She would try so hard to fight through it. We had many tests and possible cures done and she just seemed to carry on the same way. Over a period of a few months before she eventualy died in my living room. When I think back I wish I wouldnt have put her through all that crap and just put her down to get her out of her misery sooner. But I loved her and thought we could push her through it.
She died on my living room floor right in front of my fireplace, I swear she came into my room and licked me, I swear just one last goodbye before she died. My dog I had grown up with since I was 10 years old. I too had to carry her outside and dig a hole to burry her in. The ground was frozen solid and it must have took me about 2 hours to get down like 4 feet and wide enough for her. She was a big dog (Lab mix). She was stiff as a rock. I cried the whole time. It is the only time I remember crying in my life. All the time I was with my family in the house I held back the tears by almost looking mad, I did not say a word cause theres no way I could get one out. I'm hapy no-one saw me cry but I'm sure they knew. My dad was going to help me burry her but I shut the back door real quick so he couldnt come out. He prob knew I wanted to be alone doing it. I buried her in the spot she always rested at when outside.
Wasnt a very kewl New Years for me.

I can't really relate because I'm asthmatic and I could never have a dog, but I've always dreamed of having one since I was 3. The German Shepard pictures really got to me because that was my favorite dog for a long time.
Hope you feel better.
