folding@home question

Post by JawZ »

I just got the console version installed finally and was wondering, how do I know if in fact I have been added to the speedguide.net team successfully? I entered the info correctly but not sure where to look next.
Also. in the console version, how do I know that it is working? thanks! :D

When you start up the console you will have a DOS wondow on your desktop. You must be conected to the net to recieve and send completed Work Units. When you first start it will show your user name. And then you wait to verify that it post results. It takes 100 frames to make a Work Unit so it does take awhile. To tell if its doing what its supposed to just watch the DOS window for a couple of minutes and you will see
"Finished a frame<1>"
"Finished a frame<2>"
...............etc
"Finished a fram<100>
Yippy :)
and so on and so on,and remember
Patience is a virtue
BTW Welcome to the FOLD
