Any (real) deals on Amazon prime day?

Post by Easto »

In light of my prep for my new computer build I'm very interested in any possible hardware deals they may have going on. I did see the Crucial MX500 SSD 1tb going for $91. That $10 less than what I paid 3 weeks ago. Have you seen any GREAT deals?

I browsed for a bit, didn't see anything exceptional, even though there are many products that have at least 10% off.. There are just way too many at meh discounts it seems to find really good deals.

Here is a good 2TB 2.5" backup hdd for $52 for example:
https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Backup-E ... X0DER&th=1

Here is another interesting one, USB-C to Ethernet adapter for $7.99:

Disclaimer: Please use caution when opening messages, my grasp on reality may have shaken loose during transmission (going on rusty memory circuits), even though my tin foil hat is regularly audited for potential supply chain tampering. I also eat whatever crayons are put in front of me.

I don't know about anyone else but the whole Prime Day thing seemed to be pretty much a flop in my opinion. I didn't see anything that really caught my attention.

Yeah prime day was a waste of time day. Nothing great. Hopefully black Friday will have a few items.

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box ;).

Yeah I was hoping to snag a good smart watch....not sure which to get yet but I want a Wear OS based smart watch..but one that looks like a good beefy mens watch.
The Mobvoi TickWatch 2020 has caught my eye but didn't see good deals on it.
The smart watches I saw on Amazon sale were the thinner...kinda toy-ish ones.
