Any great Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals ?

Post by Philip »

So, did anyone score, or is looking at some great Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals ?

I got one Samsung 850 Evo SSD (great discounts at Amazon), but that's about it.

I got a Samsung Galaxy S7 (I needed to upgrade anyways) and got a $250 Best Buy gift card and Samsung Gear VR headset thrown in.

They are great phones... I use the S7 Edge Olympic edition (got it as a birthday present last month from a real Olympian that was in Rio, they all got one for free from Samsung.. but that's another story ;) ).
The processor seems very efficient, doesn't drain the battery or heat up like my LG Nexus 5x when CPU is strained, it has much longer battery life too. The Amoled screens on them look amazing too, but I think the colors are a bit off (yellow/green seem a bit over-exaggerated).

Other than the usual places I'd check, like Amazon, Newegg, BestBuy, etc. ... slickdeals.net is pretty good for finding deals. Once I am set on a product/model, google.com/products is pretty good on finding the right price.
