Interesting day...

Post by Humboldt »

Office about 4:30 PM

Heard some yelling, then a naked dude went running by my office windows, right in between the Thai restaurant and the new AT&T store.

Not even his socks.

Turned out he was selling (meth) something out of his shorts all day, then got jumped by 4-5 guys in a van.

Took turns slamming his head again the van, in the ensuing scuffle he lost every shred of clothing and took off.

When I saw him he had both arms out like a bird in flight and was screaming about Jesus.

Cops flocked, got him, took a report.

Great reminder why that's one life-choice I avoid.

Yeah

You sure it wasn't Prey?
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

Sounds like, at the very least, that man leads an interesting life.

The story does not mention a beach or pile of sand, cannot confirm.
