Ethernet Switch or Wireless Router?

Post by MCleveland89 »

I was thinking about adding a ethernet switch so I can hook my PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 into which connects to my wireless router. The problem is my wireless router is downstairs on the other side of the house so I don't always get the greatest connection. Would it be a good idea to get a wireless router instead of a switch? That would of course mean my devices would be going through 2 routers.

Wired beats wireless for gaming and solid connections...so adding a switch will be best.
Also look into ethernet over powerline adapters, and moca adapters.
