More malware for Apple computers coming out

A new variant on the rise......seen a few examples last fall...but here they come!

Sounds like more of a problem with Java than the Mac OS. Plus it's a variant of a previously discovered trojan. It's not like there are reports of 10's or 100's of these types of files being discovered.

Yup..Java exploit. Just like the much of the malware that hits Windows. I've covered the topic a few times in the past...malware is cross platform now, ....Apple, Linux...it doesn't care...it's the web players that most of it is exploiting now....Java, Flash, etc. Which is why it's important to keep your web players updated, to help avoid malware.

And it was way over 10's or 100's in discovery...hell we had 3 or 4 Macs last fall need a cleaning from its prior variant that injected Google redirects into the browser.

I meant in the 10's or 100's of DIFFERENT trojans or malware. This is only 1 trojan that has variant (so far).
