Hardware vendor other then Newgg

Post by RoundEye »

I’m having BIG problems with them and I’m having problems dealing with them over the phone. Not the first time either. Time for a new vendor. They have pissed me off, that’s not easy either.

Quick time for getting the order out …… cheap price for hardware …….. etc.

They've been around for a long time, they started out with mostly cheap cloner stuff..but they have grown over recent years and have a good list of name brands now.

lol as I've said in the other threads newegg is the first one I normally go to and have always been great.... awesome customer service.

Besides them? Tigerdirect, buy.com , amazon, ebay.... a few others if I'm looking for a better deal but it rarely goes beyond Newegg as they beat the rest out in customer service everytime.

Living in Canada I've bought a lot of stuff from Tigerdirect.ca and really don't have any complaints with service. I've only just started to buy from Newegg.ca as their prices seem to be lower and they now ship to Canada. Shipping times from Newegg are considerably longer compared to Tigerdirect for me here in Canada though, and I may just go back to Tigerdirect as a result of it too.
I don't know the same things you don't know.

Obviously you haven’t had a major problem with them yet. Have you ever tried to get them on the phone?

Yeah i've had a few issues and yes over the phone is easy.. solves it quicker too. I try not to put myself in a position to have a major major problem.... most I've had to deal with was a high priced item I had to return but I didn't want to be out so I had them cross ship but wouldn't bill me for the other unless the broken one didn't show up.

I've been buying mostly from Amazon and Tigerdirect. Mostly Amazon since I don't have to pay taxes and have prime so I get my stuff in 2 days instead of a week and a half with Newegg.

Personally I've had nothing but GREAT service from NewEgg. That includes price, customer service, the handling of returns etc. Just my 2 cents. I live real close to the distribution center here in Los Angeles and usually get my stuff next day no matter what. I think for a little while they were even playing around with the idea of letting you pickup there.

Thats another one to try, but newegg really is the best out there. I had a hard time reaching them on the phone once but thats been my worst issue that I remember.
