Any chance to increase my upload speed?

Post by zep123dmc »

Hi, I am curious if I am getting the best possible speeds with the plan I am on through Charter Communications. Currently I am using their 60Mbps download and 5Mbps upload plan. (I connect my modem directly to my laptop without a router). When I upload through an FTP client I get a max of about 645KB/s. Does this sound right for the upload speed I should be getting?

Here are the results of my TCP analyzer test. Any help to increasing speed (if possible) would be appreciated.

Use the sg optimier and select optimal. Try setting your network card to full duplex in control panel network and sharring change my adapter settings it could listed under link speed as well.
