Create a batch file to backup user data to network server

Post by val1 »

The LAN consists of 100 windows xp machines and the users have data on the local machine in folder \MY Documents. I would like to backup that data in \MY Documents and also the favorites in IE and profile in Mozilla Thunderbird to the server user home directory. I created in the user home directory a folder called \MY Documents, Favorites and Thunderbird.

I know there is a way to create a batch file which will automate the process for all users in the domain. I have never created a batch file and would need your assistance. Thank you very much.
