great movie IMO,

and the blu-ray sound on my ht system was amazing, there was 2 or 3 scenes with explosions, that had my house shaking,it's an awesome movie to test ht bass.

I have a 12" powered sub on the front wall and one on the back wall, things literally fell off of shelves last night.I am excited as how good it sounded, and it should sound even better.

btw,I am after the perfect bass sound,I will rent that movie again after next week,I am replacing one of the subs with a better one,and I also ordered a sub DSP EQ.
I ordered these two units.

Dan, Have you ever thought of buying some bass traps for the room and experimenting with them? They might help you fine tune the bass response.

Just a thought.

I have two of them http://www.auralex.com/bass_traps_metro ... _lenrd.asp ,and I also have two auralex gramma bass isolators http://www.auralex.com/sound_isolation_ ... gramma.asp ,but nothing has made the bass work like this new ANTI-MODE 8033C DSP SUB EQ http://www.dspeaker.com/en/products/ant ... 8033.shtml it is amazing,it also gave me that "pressurized " bass sound,it now has an extreme accurate flat bass sound when needed.this thing automatically calibrated my subs to this room.

but when all is said and done,I didn't say I disliked the vibrating house in those 3 scenes :D ,I loved it ! that movie and my system reproduced amazing action bass and the sound engiulfed the room and made me part of the movie.
it's taken me many years and a lot of money, but
I am very happy with my system.

but then again this addiction never ends ! :D

I have these 2 subs now

.
one is ported and one is sealed, the combo works great for this room imo.
it's not boomy at all,it's quick.
