Hope someone has an answer. Canon S3 IS Canon camera window will not open. Camera is recognized, SSDP, WIA and canon library 8 are all started and set to automatic. I've installed and uninstalled the software multiple times with the same results. No matter what, it will not open the camera window nor can the camera be discovered in Zoom Ex browser. Any other photo program works just fine for transfering images, but customer wants the camera window operational. I've been banging my head against the wall for 3 days on this now.
Dan, anybody?
P.S. don't know that it matters, but customer is also using canon scanner and printer.

I've been through all of that, uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times, cleaning the registry out too. Only thing left is to disable everything in start up and run only the canon stuff and see if it works then. I dread it. It'll be 4 days of trial and error, but don't see another way around it.

No second computer to test it on unfortunately. I'm seriously wondering if her canon scanner doesn't have something to do with it.
What kills me is, look at all the others having the same problems. You'd think Canon would find a fix and post it on the support site.
