Telling me there's not enough space on the drive to do an upgrade. WTF?
This free space on the same partition as current operating system. Anyway...NEVER do an upgrade, always do a clean install.

Hey Tony, want to clarify what i'm doing this for. i'm basically looking to just do a windows reinstall. It seems with win 7 and correct me if I'm wrong, but "upgrading" to the same OS is basically a reinstall? It gives me two options, one is a complete wipe where nothing is kept and the other is where everything is kept. The reason I'm doing this is because my aunt's laptop apparently got hit with a virus and can't get online. It's connected to my router but no internet...Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the network adapters and got new drivers that put on there via a flash drive and nothing's working.TonyT wrote:This free space on the same partition as current operating system. Vefor you reunstall, check the Internet Options > Connections. Some viruses change it to use a Proxy which does not exists, thus no Internet access.
