Fair enough, but would he have delivered his pro Constitutional rhetoric in the face of the Patriot Act? Perhaps he did. My thoughts lie with the reason for the GOP removal from power.

"Liberals" wish to build great things, for the common good. It is the thought that our government that can collect our efforts and acheive. If the state is the enemy, no party affiliation will save its people.

There's a delicate balance between the State being the enemy, and the State being the tool to progress with, however. The leaders elected to their positions are still human beings with their own idealologies, and there will never be one leader who can please everyone. Knowing that, progress can only be achieved by keeping a watchful eye on those elected leaders and not being afraid to call them out on their failures. Regardless of party, platform, or state of the world.
So trade that typical for something colorful, and if it's crazy live a little crazy!

The "balance" is in perception. Ideologies be damned, it is corruption, the waste and manipulation of our leadership that has given many of those who would see a smaller government. While some curse Washington and federal taxes, others watch local law enforcement badger the populace with coffer filling fines. In NJ, it may become unlawful to be 17 years of age.

Rather interesting. If you watched the video JC linked, the orator stressed the liberals ad hominem affronts of the tea party and conservatives. I wonder if Herman Cain spends any time on the internet?

No, the next president will come from a pre-vetted pool of banker-approved corporatists. Romney, the original implementer of the much-maligned health care mandate, will likely be the GOP's man.

Whomever gets elected is nigh on irrelevant anymore. They're Janusian relics of the establishment, two paths to the same slaughterhouse.

Didn't your boy, ole Ron Paul get high marks here recently in some poll? He is looking pretty good here lately compared to others.

God I hope you fools run palin against him.

There's no way 50% of the country would _EVER_ vote for her.

I agree it would be foolish for the GOP to have Palin run for president.

The one thing about her that rubs me wrong is that she stepped down as governor of Alaska.

Yes, things got tough for her but I have to envision her as president and wonder if the same thing would happen. I find it a flaw in her character which can't be fixed.

There are better choices and a second term for Obama would probably be worse than Palin as president.

She won't win the Republican nomination because she couldn't garner the independent vote. Republicans would be insane to nominate her. Doing so would guarantee a second term for President Obama.

Oh but she is like holy water to a demon possessed libtard, watching the spastic convultions from them at the mentioning of her name is hilarity!

Let alone talk of "Sahra Palin 2012" around them and they go into writhing consternations.

With barrys continually dropping approval rate, (even after the bump he got after passing the health care abortion, oh wait, what bump?:rotfl :) , the Neocons could rerun Bush and wipe the floor with ol' barry.

There is no way at all you are a registered democrat. In your entire time here you have said literally nothing to suggest you are anything other then a die-hard Republican.

As for Palin she has absolutely no shot. Even the most die-hard Republican on here other then maybe yourself and one other that I am aware of thinks she would even be a good and competent President much less become one. President Bush who got his fair share of stupidity claims thrown against him is a genius of massive proportions compared to Palin.

I'm someone who is saying that your claim of being a registered Democrat is in no way backed up by your posting history and that's a fact. Without a doubt you know this also and will resort to some kind of diversionary tactic to move away from that. I'm also saying that Palin would have no shot at all.

really sad that you try to utilize your position to push your agenda, thats all it could be considering your preparations, attempts and such to paint individuals on this forum, you've had to make apologies to sava due to your attacks on him in the past that were unbecoming of a moderator.

and the there are those that post and wonder why people are leaving this forum.

sad really.

You said, "I have been a registered Democrat my entire adult life.", if there is some confusion over this then it is your own fault for not be very clear. But, regardless, there is no need to jump down Roody's throat like that you are completely overacting.

Keep trying, you cut the screen cap off at post 23 for a reason, you originally just posted the screen cap (with no link to the thread so others could read and make up their own minds the entire thread and see where it went), sad, really sad.

then you edited your post to include just a link to post 23 only and not the entire thread, sad really.

A moderator is allowed to call BS and I did when you got caught in a lie. You are right I did apologize to sava because that's the thing to do when someone is wrong. You got caught showing that you did admit to being a dem. You can at least admit you were wrong there also otherwise you got no room to lecture me.
