Try resetting your TTL. Some people have run over 50 hops to get there. You can run a traceroute to check. You can use DrTcp or Cablenut or whatever to adjust it if you don't know where it is in the registry.
It doesn't hurt anything to keep it at 128 then you can get almost anywhere.
