Do you know what FSC stands for?

Post by RoundEye »

Fire Safe Cigarette – Its on the top of the UPC code on cigarette packs. I was talking to my wife about why cigarettes keep going out and why the ashes keep falling off. After a little research on the net, that’s why. They’re also adding ethylene vinyl acetate to achieve this effect. It’s not like cigarettes aren’t dangerous enough to our health, they have to add a chemical that’s related to plastic to them. Plus the hydrocarbons from second hand smoke are even more dangerous now. Another law passed by the federal government to make us all safer. Good going feds.

It's still ridiculous for the government to add some poison to the mix and put it in your mouth under the "smoking kills" umbrella... Oh yeah, maybe it will even improve the statistics and deliver a stronger message ?

Yeah, can't stand 'em. Once they're down to 1/3 or so, gotta pull hard to keep them going, else they go on ya.

Making you pull harder on them makes for more damage to the lungs.

I’d like to say “no s*** Sherlock?” but I won’t because I want to become a better person. Even though it’s a Capt. Obvious reply.

I hope that suit was made with some extra plies. It could be a hot, bumpy ride.

Yeah, it’s a nasty habit no doubt. I think if I could handle the extra stress I’d quit again. There’s enough stress and changes in my life right now, I don’t need the extra stress of quitting smoking thrown into the mix. Lord knows I’d improve my health in the long run, not only that, it’s expensive as hell. I’d probably do better getting addicted to some illegal drug, it seems as if their cheaper.
