Wow did it turn fall all the sudden for anyone else?
Woke up to 52 degrees this morning, I had all my windows open, was a little chilled. It is 56 right now and the high is only going to be 67 today with light rain and clouds. In fact it is going to be in the 60's all the way until Thursday when it breaks 70 degrees for the high then. When did fall get here?

It's nice to feel the cooler temps at night and in the morning.
It feels like such a drastic change because your body has physiologically been getting used to the unusually high temps and humidity, so a drop down to these more normal temps feels quite extreme.
The arrival of September will normally bring a few days in a row or week of cooler drops, mixed in with the continuation of summer weather...but hopefully no more extremely warm and humid days like we had early-mid August.
Also in Oct and Nov we'll have what's called "Indian Summer"..a week or so of August like weather just when your body is starting to get used to the 50's and 60's weather again. It's like a last burst of summer weather before later November fall cool==> cold weather hits.

+ all the youngsters who could never land a job because there was never jobs available. As for me, doesn't seem to matter one way or another. I've never had a real job. Lack the XP or something. Before that I was too young. It's only a matter of time before I'm too old to get a job. I just keep applying all over the place. Oh well.24giovanni wrote:Yeah, join the club with me on that. Well, people are saying the recession is finally over so maybe there will be more creations of new jobs. However, I do think there will be competition from the 11 million ppl who are out of work.

I wish I had "cooler temps"

I think fall hit here today...it only hit about 68 or so...about 20 degrees cooler than what we've had over the last few weeks...
