next week. Any suggestions?
I usually just drive down there and find back roads and explore. I do want to check out Titus Canyon, but I suspect it is closed this time of year. I was thinking Hole in the Wall. I was definitely going to hit up some of the hot springs around Mammoth, but I doubt I will camp there (not that into snow camping).
It is going to be cold, but at least there will not be rain
Thinking about camping in Mojave or Death Valley...
my suggestion is to let other family and friends know your exact location and times you'll be in each location.
I would also register with park rangers if you'll be on one be it federal or state.
I'd also take the essentials like a first aid kit, fire starters, flashlight and batteries, survival blanket, water purification system, cell phone + solar charger etc.
