Pens are a good choice the way they're playing right now.

Wild? They would have to beat the Red Wings first! :D

yeah I know I couldn't pick the wings though They are the best team in the league. and that bugs the hell out of me.

I even think col is a better team than the wild but think that the wild will slip past them anyway.

would be cool to see Sid the kid hoist the grail

Yup, I hope Therrien keeps them in game shape. The week off will either be good (Malkin looked to take a few hits in Ottawa that kept him down for a few seconds, Malone took a few GOOD ones too, Roberts w/ his groin, etc...) or REALLY REALLY bad.

I've seen a team sweep way too often and have a layoff and then DIE the next round. Look at ottawa last year. In my opinion the best team in the first 3 rounds of the playoffs, red hot, then had a week off before the finals and managed to win, what 1 game?! Youchh....

I'm hoping for a Caps/Pens second round, glad we won't see the Flyer scum until a possible Conf Finals (frigging dirty team...)

GO PENS!

Yup been watching as much hockey as i can. That said ive been watching the Rangers play too. I would MUCH rather see a decent team that managed to squeak into a game 7 , than a Good team who took out another Good team in 5. :D

BTW Red Wings just made it to round 2.

I wouldn't take the Bruins so lightly, especially if Bergeron is cleared to play.

I'm not saying that the series would be a walk in the park. I'm just saying that it would be an easier match than one with the Rangers. Plus it would be nice for the Rangers and Flyers to kill each other.

Either way you still have to beat the Habs in game 7! Worry about round 2 after you make it. :D :D :D

Caps force a Game 7, and in my opinion have all the momentum, should be a great game.

Habs down the Bruins 5-0 to take game 7.

Go Caps, i think id rather see a Pens Caps series than a Pens Rangers.

All that talent on the ice at once....oh my god... :thumb:

Just watched the Rangers/Penguins game... was hoping the Rangers would win :/ Oh well. Now they're down 2-0 in the series and it's not looking good.

Anyway though, it doesn't matter, the important game is at 6pm (pacific) tonight - Sharks vs Stars. We lost the first game but we played well I thought. We're going to kick arse and take names in tonight's game :)

Whooooo not so fast, this series is only half way over. The Rangers are a damned good team. I hope to come back to pittsburgh up 3-1 and finish it in front of the home crowd!

Heck no! Go Stars!!!

A Penguins / Stars Stanley Cup Finals is the only chance i have at actually catching a Pens Playoff game in person this year! Granted it would be in hostile territorry and i may end up bloody by the end of the series....but Oh well! :D IM a bit outspoken at games! hehehe
