OKAY! PLEASE READ AND REPLY! :p

Does the DXR3 require a free IRQ?

EDIT: AAAAAAAnd....do you think its a resonable hardware decoder for $75

EDIT 2: Will it also work fine with any of my dvd software (either WinDVD or PowerDVD), or do I HAVE to use the bundled software for hardware playback?

EDIT 3: New Subject line that will hopefully get SOMEONE to reply. ;)

I don't wamt to sound mean spirited, but if you hadn't been so misleading with the title of the topic header, then maybe people might respond (FYI: People usually only respond to problems to know they can fix, otherwise they stay clear of it and that's better for you). I personally thought it was interesting, but sorry I don't know anything about your problem.

Uh...it wasn't misleading until about 30 minutes ago when I changed it. It originally said something like "Questions about Creative DXR3", and I'm fairly certain at least SOMEONE here has, or has had this card.

Sorry if it seemed misleading, but I only changed that after about 5 days of it sinking to the bottom. :)

I dont meen to piss off anyone or cause anyone a breakdown here but i would agree why he actually made the topic what it is. When i first joined this forum people would answer all my questions in 1 day but now well hellif i know whats going on maybe people are getting lazy but hey being lazy isnt all that bad isnt it.

actually i really dont blame him either for giving this the title he did. For some reason it has become a bad habit for members of SG to not respond to important questions asked. Instead in fact they tend to respond to this kind of title so no offense Terrence , but his calling it this actually and obviously got him more responses to a legitimate question then if he hadnt called it this, unfortunately I dont know the answer myself.

I have the real magic card in my second pc, and I can attest to its quality. If you use the SVHS out and the Dolby digital out its just as good for sound and video quality as a dvd player, of course there is no remote and its not as adjustable as some dvd players. Was able to dig up a hack for it awhile ago that bypassed the Macrovision and region code too
Throw rock - Hit other guy with stick - Throw rock with stick on the end of it - Shoot stick with rock on end of it at guy with curved stick - Hit rock with fire, make copper, bronze, iron, steel rocks to put on ends of stick - Put fire in tube, throw rock with fire. - Put fire in metal tube, throw metal rock with fire. - Put fire in metal rocks, drop exploding rocks on other guy - Drop rocks made of unstable atomic metals on other guy - Head for the asteroid belt. Throw rock
