Time for a new camera

Post by pcuse5 »

I am thinking of getting a nice camera for a long time, just have no action, and recently there is a 5% off on the cameras, at last I intend to get something there. What do you think is a good camera choice for $300 at most? I don't have very strict requirements for it just want it to be solid and with good picture quaility.

I like the Canon Digi Elphs... they are compact and take good pics. I have a Fuji Finepix V10 that i like alot but it took some getting used too.
Every normal man must be tempted at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
I often wonder if the voices in my head ever get frustrated because I'm just too damn lazy to climb that clock tower.

Answering to your question I suggest you to visit TestFreaks, choose Digital Cameras category and sort models by score:
http://www.testfreaks.com/digital-cameras/?sort=score
Such way you'll see which digicams have the best ratings, based on expert and user reviews from all over the world.
As for now TOP 3 $300's digital cameras are:
1. Panasonic DMC-FZ18
2. Olympus SP-560 UltraZoom
3. Ricoh R8
I recommend you the second one, as I'm it's owner :)
