Cable modem for $27.99 at Newegg

Post by Philip »

Many Cable companies charge $3 per month for renting their cable modem... You can now get DLink-DCM202 (DOCSIS 2.0 certified) from Newegg for only $27.99:

I'd rather just spend the 35 bucks and get a 5120 instead of waiting for a rebate.

Also, sava, whoever said that is wrong, comcast approved teh 5120 a long time ago.

They said it wouldn't accept the config that should be pushed to it for my package.. I purchased a different 5120 and now I'm on Blast with a Blast config..but you know that whole story already. I don't think nothing is wrong with the other modem I just think they may have had a issue at the time with the MAC address.

I have this modem, bought it about a year ago when our cable went to 10MB..
Reliable, and a good price, I paid 49$ back then.
