Guitar Hero 3 Wireless Controller

Post by MetalHead324 »

Yeah, i was wondering if anyone knows if/when the Guitar Hero 3 wireless controllers will be available to buy separately. I got the version on GH3 that comes with the GH2 X-plorer and i don't like it too much because its wired, and a black Les Paul is cooler :rockin:
TIA

Early in the year. Figure the latter half of January, early February as a rough estimate.

The MSRP on the wired X-plorer was $60, and in all honesty, Red Octane would have to be insane to charge any more than that for the Gibson.

I'm hoping for the $40-$50 range, but my money is on $60.

Yeah, it's really annoying for the Wii. At least with XBox and Playstion, you can use older controllers. With Wii you are stuck.

trust me dude, ive been playing gh3 since the day it came out and the wireless controllers are hella buggy. my red button sticks a bunch and the strum sometimes doesnt read.
the x-plorer, while wired, has more sensitive buttons as well as a smaller button board lengthwise (easier to hit orange)
also, the clicker is much more responsive, the buttons feel better and the neck is skinnier. basically the explorer, while not being the prettiest thing, improves gameplay and greatly falls short to the black wireless les paul, which happens to be gathering dust in the corner this very moment
