Helping a friend with an issue.
All his PCs in his LAN are XP and they have no problems with file transfer but his HP Laptop with the Vista is really slow like 1kbs - 100kbs. He only has a problem when he transfers data from the laptop with vista to the other pc's running XP.
Internet access and downloading are no problems just the file transfer between the laptop with Vista and other pcs in the LAN running XP.
Any ideas on what could be the problem?
TIA

I experienced the same issue with a new install of Vista, the instructions on this page helped to speed things up (although they are still slower than XP was):

If you mean links to what SP1 will fix...there are quite a few sites out there that describe Vista issues being fixed in SP1...such as

File transfer speed, and the excruciating delay for ctrl_alt_del login..are 2 of the huge ones I cannot wait for.
