how can i get all the information about my wireless internet connection and devices? like what kind of adapter i dont know what stuff. ?

could someone advise?

also if i want to connect to the server of a network how can i do that? actually to the modem linksys?

You adapter....look in Device Manager, also can refer to your network components under network properties.

As for other equipment on your network...still have the user manuals/guides? If not, can download them from your brands website support section.

What operating system is the "server"? A domain controller?

Really no difference as far as TCP/IP goes...wired or wireless...just as long as the correct DNS information is being handed out...
