Great news from Crytek today! Crytek Community Manager Alexander Marschal sent a word that the Crysis single player demo is only a month away!
Awesome no stress with keys or subscription a playable demo for everyone! :D

The Countdown to Crysis Continues:

Single Player Demo - 9.25.07

PC gamers now have a reason to mark a big circle around September 25th on their calendars as the single player demo for Crysis will be lighting up rigs worldwide in just 30 days.

Consisting of the entire first level in Crysis’ epic single player campaign, "Contact", gamers will get to finally experience first-hand the stunning visuals, revolutionary Nanosuit gameplay and open-ended level design that make Crysis one of the most anticipated shooters and PC games of all time. The demo is also poised to include a huge surprise from Crytek, but for now you’ll just have to wait and check out the latest Crysis Nanosuit trailer.

Been watching videos and this game looks like farcry on crack. Which is a good thing imho.

Though its multiplayer wont go anywhere same as farcrys.

Anyone read anywhere how it'll do on a DX9 card? Say, an ATI 1950 pro?

should play ok on that card...

They are hyping multiplayer counts to 32 players on a server.. should make for some great action to be able to destroy everything to get to each other :thumb:

How is the multiplayer going to work? Just two teams, and the last one standing wins? That could be fun, I want to hide in a bush and shoot people. :D

too bad my system is a piece of crap. Pay some bills off then consider an upgrade....yeah right... :( :( :(
