{List of numerous file types} Funny, I remember downloading that file... but I can't recall what the original extension was. Was it TXT? No, that's not it. Maybe it was PMB? Wait a second, what in the world is PMB? Most files have extensions that we all would recognize (GIF, EXE, ZIP, etc.), but what happens when you stumble upon one that's completely unfamiliar? Here's a comprehensive database of file extensions, complete with valid descriptions. It's perfect for newbies, who may feel as if they're drowning in a sea of unknown file types. Experts should keep this on hand, too. You never know when a UST or MAM will cross your path; heaven help us if they ever do.
