I now completely believe that old people should not drive...

Post by YARDofSTUF »

On my way to the store I was behind an old lady doing 20mph the entire time(speed limit was 35mph) and she was swerving all over the place. Then2 old people crashed into each other in the parking lot, and on the way back some old guy was in the middle of the 3 way intersection with his left blinker on where there is no left turn, finally he gave up and put it in reverse and chose a road already built.

As soon as social security hits they need to be tested again, if they fail, take that **** away from them!

Its xmas weekend so I didnt beep at them, look a lot of restraint.

I agree.. as I get older I expect to be tested.. last thing I want to do is be trying to drive without being able to see or something correctly and kill some teen or anyone for that matter.

Nothing worse than driving behind some old fogey doin 10 below the limit on a 1 lane road. I usually jump into the oncoming traffic lane once it's safe and get around them. They're more of a menace to the roads than female drivers.

Yeah. Good luck with that. Most of the people in the elderly demographic don't even know what planet they're on, but they're still driving. Case in point. Check out this guy.

He killed/maimed pedestrians at an outdoor farmer's market in 2003. Did they take away his license? Put him in prison? Negative. None of the above. He's "too old," therefore he just completely got out of any kind of punishment. The court put him on probation and that was it. :irate:

I agree with you YOS but what we are going to do once we get old ?
Sometimes I had to bit my tong when I was driving in the past but it's all about respect.

Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I'm so unfortunate to live into old age I hope my runner up prize is the lotto, then I'll higher a driver.
