You should see his antique collection. Goes out in the old countryside...around old roads and foundations, metal detector in tow. There was an antique coin collection thread about 6 months ago, he posted a few pics. Has a huge collection of old colonial spoons, belt and shoe buckles, muzzle loader shot and parts, doorknobs, etc. Donates a lot to local museums. I keep telling him he should open up an eBay antique store...he'd be rolling in money.
