Easiest Car color to keep clean?

What is the easiest car color to keep cleen?

I have a blue car and this things holds dirt like no other... what is a good color to get?

A rusty brown or gray.

White is the easiest color to maintain. The darker the color, the more noticeable the dirt becomes unless you go mudding alot. You would think it would be opposite, but my parents can prove it and they will not buy any other color vehicle just for that reason. Personally, I hate white on a vehicle.. Silver would be my second choice for cleanliness.

My aquamarine durango carries dirt like you wouldn't believe and before that my red Acura Legend was horrible as well, not to mention darker paint colors fade easier in the sun so it adds to the bad look when they get dirty.

Absolutely not, my white altima shows dirt so easy or else it looks like piss.

It shows dirt quicker than my red firebird.

I've got a Gold or Tan color car.. It doesn't show dirt nearly at all.. you'll see it on the windows before you'll see it on the windows for ages long before the rest of the body..

Hi aagiants

I have a Gold coloured Mazda 1/2 Ton (not Gold as you'd think of it, but a softer coloured Gold)and it doesn't show dirt at all. Of all the cars i've had over the years including White, its the best as to looking good no matter what.

Ya, I almost bought my SUV in blue, but dark colors are a biatch to keep clean, so I went with silver.

That doesn't work up north here.

Winter time...when there's brown sand/salt on the roads....white will get nasty looking on the lower waistline of the are.

Beign/mid brown colors would work best around here. Probably grays also.

I own black...very tough.

Had dark green..also somewhat tough.

Light blue worked pretty well.

You may have a different color/type of dirt up there.

My parents live in a rural community, mostly dirt roads. They have a white Chevy Silverado and a white Chevy Blazer and a basic rinse and the dust film just falls right off. Even before rinsing, unless the dirt is red clay or black mud, the basic shellrock gray misty dust doesn't show up well on a white undercoat.

It could depend on where you live and the type of dirt, but if you go out in the country side down in south Florida, you'll notice a lot of truck owners choose white over other colors.. If you don't wax and wash any other color, it will look way worse than a white vehicle that has gone through the same amount of dirt. <<shrugs>>

I have Arizona Beige Metallic, very easy, Silver or Gold Metallic-like colors get my vote......

You get what I'm saying though.. If you dig a couple inches into the ground in any given area, you will likely notice that the soil is not always the same color, therefore the dirt is not always going to look the same when it's caked onto a vehicle.

When I spend time down in south Florida, driving down the same road as my parents, I have to wash my Durango twice as often as my parents do. They actually tease me about it all the time for not choosing white and I just tell them I think white is ugly and I'd rather wash a nicer looking color more often than to have a white vehicle.

My car is Bronze Mist Metallic. Which is pretty easy to hide dirt. I've own a car that was black and I'll never own a black color vehicle again. Damn, does it show the dirt. But on the other hand, when it's all waxed up, nothing looks better than black. Really nice!

Mrs. C drives a blue 2005 Ford Focus and I have a green 2005 Mazda Bravo ute.

Both are dirt catchers and have to be washed regularly especially the Bravo.

My vote is on gold. If not that...then most any of the tan shades are the easiest. I used to believe white was...however with all the pollen flying around in this area...it looks like a yellow polka dotted mess!! My gold chrysler however that I sold before getting the white one..never looked dirty. I still miss that car too!!

White and black are the worst colors to keep clean. Silver or Bronze are good colors to keep clean some rust colors and browns are good as well. It depends on where you live and what you have for dirt and grim around you.

white,I have 2 white cars,and they are the easiest IMO,

I have had dark color cars before.

Serial killers love that color.
Check FBI profiling, its because the dirt does not show up. Most serial killers are clean freaks, therefore no colors on their cars that show up dirt.
