Hey there,
I have the Bellsouth Extreme 6.0 (512/6000) with a D-Link DI-624 router (latest firmware) and a Westell C90-610030 (latest firmware).
I just want to know if I can get a higher upload speed. My download consistantly hits 6000 and up, but my upload only hits 425 kbps every single time on Speakeasy speed tests.
I've tried the TCP Optimizer and also tested some other custom settings recommended by pro's on the forum when working with other people who have the same connection as me. Unfortunately, no upload change.
I also called Bellsouth and they say they are confirming a solid 512 kbps signal going directly to my modem. So i don't know how in the world i'm losing almost 10 KB/sec from my modem to my PC. Any suggestions? If you want a TCP Analyzer post, just let me know (I can revert back to the original XP values if you want to start from scratch). Thank ya much!

Alright, I thought that might be the case. Router MTU is set at 1492 which i believe is the proper setting for PPPoE. Oh, by the way mccoffee, when i mentioned I used settings used by pros in the forums, it was your settings for another guy with Bellsouth DSL 6.0 ...but now i can't seem to find that post anymore. could you hook me up with some custom settings for max performance? (TCPOptimizer / or whatever else i can use to tweak) Thanks for the help
